The following points will be considered by the daycare management team:
- Both parents study at a university which is supported by the Cologne StudierendenWerk (the current certificate of study must be enclosed with the registration form).
- One parent studies, one parent is employed (in this case the care costs will be shared with the Cologne Youth Welfare office)
- Mother/ Father studies and is a single parent living alone with a child (and not in a shared household)
- First degree studies - including Master's postgraduate studies after a completed Bachelor's program
- Doctoral studies (there must be a connection to the first degree program in terms of content). Proof of the subject and status of the work, certified by the doctoral supervisor, must be submitted - work cannot be linked to employment as a research assistant at the university)
- Ranking on the waiting list
- Siblings already in daycare (points are given from 1 to 4)
