Sustainability, current dietary trends, and regional ingredients play an important role in planning our menu offerings. At all cafeterias, bistros, and coffee bars, you can pay with a checking, credit, or debit card, as well as with Google Pay or Apple Pay.
Your visit to the cafeteria is now even more flexible. The old menu with fixed side dishes is a thing of the past. Starting September 1, you decide for yourself—using a modular system—what goes on your tray: Just three side dishes? Just two desserts? The one-pot dish? Or your own combination of main course(s), side dish(es), and dessert(s)?
The new concept offers more variety, more individuality, and the ability to better tailor portion sizes to your own appetite and dietary preferences. At the same time, we aim to waste even less food.
At the same time, the prices for the individual modules are changing. Prices are determined by a dynamic pricing model based on the respective cost of goods sold. Prices for the meals—which remain heavily discounted—may therefore go up or down.
The Board of Directors of the Cologne Student Services Association has approved both changes—the new menu structure and the dynamic pricing model.
