The 7th residential floor in a former hotel offers 9 places (three 2-person shared flats and three single rooms with bathroom). The hotel is used in the 6 floors below as a refugee home by the city of Cologne. Some leisure activities can be shared, e.g. billiard table and table tennis on the 1st floor. The places are reserved for men. The residential floor, where Christoph Daum once lived as coach of the 1. FC Köln and where he stirred up a lot of dust in his time, has been freshly renovated and has a modern and practical communal kitchen with a washing machine. The TH Südstadt, the CBS International Business School and the attractive nightlife district around Chlodwigplatz can be reached by bike in about 10 minutes.
