Breaking barriers
Studying with disabilities

There are visible and invisible impairments. If you are a wheelchair user, you will quickly be perceived as a disabled person. People with multiple sclerosis or depression are much more difficult to identify outright. Plus, you may not even want your condition to be known.

We are committed to
Making inclusion a success

During your studies, you are confronted with special demands. There is a high expectation of achievement, there are attendance requirements, there are obligatory or voluntary study groups, and there are questions about financing, based on the standard period of study. How can you manage your studies and at the same time keep your health needs in mind? We will work with you to find out which support services are available specifically for students with disabilities. We will also put you in touch with other counselling services that can help.

Counseling is confidential and free of charge.

Concerns that we can help you with:

  • Where can I live if I have specific requirements due to my disability?
  • What support services are available for students with disabilities?
  • What do I do if I am ill for a longer period of time? How does this affect my studies and my financial aid?
  • I need to adapt my exam to perform better. How and where can I get advice on compensating for disadvantages?
  • Where can I find support in coping with life?
