There are visible and invisible impairments. If you are a wheelchair user, you will quickly be perceived as a disabled person. People with multiple sclerosis or depression are much more difficult to identify outright. Plus, you may not even want your condition to be known.
During your studies, you are confronted with special demands. There is a high expectation of achievement, there are attendance requirements, there are obligatory or voluntary study groups, and there are questions about financing, based on the standard period of study. How can you manage your studies and at the same time keep your health needs in mind? We will work with you to find out which support services are available specifically for students with disabilities. We will also put you in touch with other counselling services that can help.
Counseling is confidential and free of charge.
