We want to help our international students to organize themselves in the new area. To do so, we have created a link called International Matters, in which we have collected a lot of information for international students regarding their studies in Germany. Another link is "Useful Addresses", where you can find an overview of counselling centres and the places to go to for help.

In Cologne the Referat für Kultur & Internationales helps with the integration and the exchange as well as with the communication among foreign and German students by organising cultural events and free time activities in Cologne, regarding culture and sports. Moreover, this department is in close contact with the international students' registries of the Universities of Applied Sciences in Cologne and with the foreigners' registration office of the city of Cologne in order to the plan cooperating events and to build up a network.

Also, this department supports students' initiatives and university groups in carrying out cultural and informative events.
